The Volusia Clerk publishes daily criminal arrest information consisting of people arrested and booked into the Branch Jail during the previous 24 hours.
Initial booking, charge and violation information, plus a format key at the beginning of the report.
The Clerk states that daily files remain downloadable for approximately 14 calendar days.
Use the report when checking a recent group of arrests or when the exact spelling of the name is unknown.

How to determine what happened after the arrest
Volusia criminal case files are public unless sealed or expunged. The location of the proceeding generally depends on where the alleged offense occurred, and the court notice identifies the assigned judge and location.

Felony and misdemeanor court rules
The Clerk cannot reschedule a felony court date. Contact the attorney or Public Defender. Failure to appear can result in a capias or bench warrant.
The Clerk may be able to reschedule depending on the assigned judge’s practice. The defendant must contact the applicable misdemeanor office.
Unpaid court costs and collections
- Partial payments are accepted.
- A payment plan can be established at a Criminal Clerk office or through the online application.
- If a driver license is suspended and the case is in collections, the full collection-agency amount must be paid before reinstatement.
- Defendants must notify the Clerk when their mailing address changes.
