An arrest is not a conviction. A recent-arrest entry, booking photograph or inmate listing documents an arrest or custody event. The prosecutor may change or decline charges, and the court may dismiss the case or find the person not guilty.

Bail has a narrow meaning. A displayed bail amount applies to the listed charge. Another warrant, charge, case, probation matter or agency hold may still prevent release.

Expungement and Clean Slate shielding are different remedies
Limited ISP expungement
Removes qualifying fingerprint and criminal-history records when no indictment or information was filed within one year, all charges were dismissed or the person was acquitted of all offenses arising from the incident.
Clean Slate shielding
Restricts ordinary public access to an eligible record after the statutory waiting period. Shielding does not destroy the underlying record.
